The Future Land Use Plan indicates Rural Residential; however, there are plans for a future development already submitted to Gibsonville for a development adjacent to this property on the east side that is proposing a mix of RS-9 and multifamily.
Access to sewer could potentially allow this property to be rezoned for a similar zoning as the proposed development next door. The plans submitted show a sewer connection at the adjoining property lines. It is not known at this time if the sewer would handle additional development of this size. Adding sewer to the proposed line would require a public or private pump station on the property.
